    <content type="html">&lt;a href="http://pics.livejournal.com/bretthreats/pic/000022h2/"&gt;&lt;img src="http://pics.livejournal.com/bretthreats/pic/000022h2/s320x240" width="244" height="240" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;ok,&lt;br /&gt;so i've pretty much listened to this album 2 to 3 times a day(!!!) for the past 3 months and i cannot get sick of it. it is pretty much one of the most amazing pieces of art ever created. it's kind of fitting that kevin shields stopped (with the exception of some lost in translation soundtrack stuff and some work with primal scream) recording. this is what my life feels like. moments of sheer joy and loneliness all at the same time, given a soundtrack of noisy guitars and barely audible singing. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;on the scale of 1 to brett. it gets a brett +  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;my mom's in town and i'm avoiding her. she's kind of a bitch.</content>

    <content type="html">last night i saw a show at the lamplighter. it was my friend jasons last show with his band rise in the fall and my other friends band callahans last show before they go on tour. it was pretty fun, wasn't sure if i was gonna know anybody there, turns out i pretty much knew everybody there. i saw chase and landon from living with lions and it was sweet cause i havent seen them since they got back from tour. it was good seeing my old roommate chris too. his girlfriend whit was so stoked to see me so that was nice. its amazing how many new friends driscoll and i have made since we played the zarley show. i rike it.</content>
